Smith Haughey is seeking Litigation and Medical Malpractice Attorneys to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 10+ years of experience in litigation, motions and depositions, excellent research and writing skills, and a commitment to excellence. Medical malpractice and/or appellate practice experience a plus. Licensure as an attorney in the State of Michigan, or ability to obtain license, is required.

Litigation and Medical Malpractice Paralegal (Grand Rapids)
Smith Haughey is seeking a Litigation and Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience. The paralegal is primarily responsible for researching
law, investigating facts, summarizing records, reviewing and preparing legal documents, preparing and assembling extensive materials, and working with attorneys in trial preparation. Experience with medical terminology and/or medical malpractice a plus. A bachelor’s degree in legal studies or another related field and a paralegal certificate or equivalent are required.

Business & Real Estate Senior Associate/Senior Counsel (Holland)
Smith Haughey is seeking a Business & Real Estate Senior Associate/Senior Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 6 years of experience in preparing documents for business organizations, including corporate formation, terms and conditions, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as service as outside general business counsel and real estate acquisition and disposition are preferred. Licensure as an attorney in the State of Michigan, or ability to obtain license, is required.
